高輪ゲートウェイ駅の開業に合わせ、東京のランドマークや土地利用の変化、鉄道網の姿を少し違った視点から見つめるコンテンツ「Tokyo Geo/Map Journey」を制作。作品の企画、ディレクション、製作を担当した。作品は3シーンから成り立っている。シーン1 『Kaleidoscope（万華鏡）』では、東京のランドマークを万華鏡のエフェクトを介して見る事で時に幾何学的、時にSFのようなビジュアルが生成され、同時にモチーフの細部へ視線を誘導する。シーン2 『Transition（変遷）』では、江戸・昭和・現在の3時代の東京がワープアニメーションにより対比され、土地の歴史的な変遷を眺めることができる。地理情報開発社の協力により実現した。シーン3 『Artery（動脈）』では、東京の主要インフラとなっている複雑な鉄道網を、大画面の映像でダイナミックに表現した。
To coincide with the opening of Takanawa Gateway Station, we created the “Tokyo Geo/Map Journey,” which looks at Tokyo’s landmarks, changes in land use, and the railway network from a different perspective. I was in charge of the planning, direction and production of the work. The work consists of three scenes. In scene 1, “Kaleidoscope”, a visual of Tokyo’s landmarks, sometimes geometric, sometimes science fictional, is created by looking at them through kaleidoscope effects, simultaneously guiding the viewer’s eyes to the details of the motif. In Scene 2: “Transition,” three eras of Tokyo – Edo, Showa, and the present – are contrasted through warp animation, allowing viewers to observe the historical transition of the land. This was made possible by the cooperation of Geographical Information Development Co. In Scene 3: Artery, a complex railway network, the main infrastructure of Tokyo, is dynamically presented on a large screen.
